BattleGrid

BattleGrid is a brand new idea I created from the ground-up. Its one of the few projects where I soley designed the site, desiging everything from the style and programming to images and icons.

The site allows link-minded gamers to connect easily and safely and compares each gamer to every other gamer on the grid using over 100 different metrics such as favourite games, location, timezone and even gamer levels.

LinkPocket

I originally created LinkPocket as a personal tool for myself, however it proved so effective that I decided to make it public.

LinkPocket consists of a mobile app (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.dreamstep.wLinkPocket&feature=search_result) and a website.

Both the site and the app allow users to add links and put these in categories, even assign colours to these categories. Every category is given its own static address, but static addresses are also provide for the last link you added and your recent links.

As a final touch users can also take part in community challenges to try and create top 10 lists, the idea is that users share their knowledge on the best sites to fill a category.

No Fuss Reviews App

I designed the No Fuss Reviews app to compliment the website, but I made sure that all functionality carried over.

The app not only allows you to easily find a game by using a node based search, but displays Wikiepedia information, YouTube videos, news, reviews and screen shots for any game. It also allows you to read the latest gaming news as it happens with news added from sources up to every four minutes.

The app also ties into Bigady, allowing users to leave ideas about games from inside the app which then appear on the Bigady website and on the relevant game page on the No Fuss Reviews site.

No Fuss Reviews 3.0 was a huge personal undertaking by myself to re-design the site I founded in 2008.

The new version of the site I designed and built from the ground up totally re-working the style and queries to make a site far more dynamic and aesthetically pleasing in a minimalistic fashion.

The new site features a wealth of features ranging from automated gaming news collection to dynamically changing styling.

A site dedicated to collecting PC and Mac news. The site uses an automated process that is run on the server to collect the news and uses a complicated procedure to ensure accuracy and to find a suitable image.

Background images are supplied by advertisers.
